It is our goal to provide ministries with the most up-to-date tools to help you reach, teach and communicate. MWD has been absolutely fantastic to work with!
They knocked it outta the park in some major areas for our church (Maple Community Church): 1. They were incredible when it came to the support aspect - answering questions sometimes within seconds, on their website, as well as fixing any issues that arose (which were almost nil).2. The product is absolutely as advertised - easy to work within, small learning curve, customizable and fresh looking.3. The MWD team recommended that we take advantage of their short 1-hour training session - and seriously - were they ever correct. That short hour was more than enough to equip us to do everything we have needed to do.4. The cost is more than worth it! Not only is the initial outlay affordable, but the monthly support cost is incredibly cheap.5.
The port-over process from our previous provider to MWD was seamless, easy and they took care of every element and made it stress-free.Finally - our redesigned website through MWD has gotten fabulous feedback. We continue to receive emails and comments from people all over our city, our denomination and the workplace as to how great, friendly, easy to use and relevant our site is.MWD and their entire team has not let us down in any area as of yet. We began in March 2019 and up to today they are still functioning as advertised in every way. I, as the Lead Pastor, have recommended MWD to at least 10 other pastors and churches with my highest recommendation.WAY TO GO MINISTRY WEBSITE DESIGNS. You guys have been exactly what we needed and continue to need.
You have helped us spread our wings and we can see that the sky is the limit for us as we grow online! They have been helpful and supportive of our efforts from day one. Jordan created a training video of all of the design basics for me that has been a huge help.
They respond to emails so quickly and always try their very best to offer alternative solutions when something seems to be off (I'm thinking of the example of the photo re-sizing links they sent when their editor was down.) Ultimately, they have been honest, have worked with integrity, and have made the transition to a new website so much easier! I am very comfortable with computer–related issues, but I'm NOT a professional web designer. The folks at Ministry Designs ARE the professionals at what they do, so I rely heavily on their support to me, the unpaid volunteer. This is what I especially like:1 - Sunday support! Sunday afternoon is when I make schedules changes to our site (sermons, bulletins, sermon notes, announcements, etc.) I have run into user–related difficulties on some of these Sunday afternoons and support (chat) is always there to bail me out within minutes. Love their highly responsive support on Sundays! (Hope I'm not keeping the out of church!)2 - When the MD product does not have a feature that I want or need, I'm confident that they add my requirement to their official 'Customer Wish List' and consider how to roll that into a future release. They are sensitive to my needs.
(Case in point: the recent addition of the google search bar to the MD product, requires me to sign Google's Agreement, which neither I nor my church can agree to. I have asked for a non-google search bar and expect to see that request fulfilled in the future.)3 - Ongoing improvements to the MD product. The latest template update allows me to do things I couldn't do before to make my site more interesting and informative. I like that they are continually improving the web site template. (If the Settings Updates section had a list of these improvements, I could be more specific, since I don't recall what feature was recently added.)4 - When I first began work with MD, there was a learning curve, even though I was very familiar with a competitors web design too. The MD tutorials and personal support, by chat and by phone, was exemplary, greatly shortening my learning curve. To summarize: The Ministry Design product and support has been of great value, monetarily and personally. Ministry Designs has helped me take the guesswork out of how to create and maintain an effective website.
With beautiful templates and easy-to-use tools, and a designated customer service consultant, I am able to use my site to communicate who we are and what we do with our website visitors. Using Ministry Designs saves me a ton of time each week and updating my site is now one of my favorite things to do, instead of a weekly 'chore'. And, did I mention their AWESOME and attentive customer service? You need to try it! It's been almost 2 years since we've (St.
Paul's UCC - Mechanicsburg PA) made our initial inquiries with Ministry Designs and we couldn't be happier with the entire process and result. We have a beautiful website that enables potential members, in addition to new and existing members to view events, sign up to be an usher, greeter, etc.
As well as view and listen to weekly messages from our Pastor. From the very beginning when Kathy and Vincent walked us through the ease of using the website, including viewing and using the tutorials (that tell you about using each tool available,) to the wonderful support when questions arose (Julie handled each and every one and responded in an easy to understand way.) We have just what we wanted, a website that a non-computer savvy volunteer could understand, develop and maintain.
In fact, we also transferred our entire web-hosting to Ministry Designs as well. Hats off to Ministry Designs for making it so easy!
