Hi bananaman!Thank you for your help. Now I have everything installed and the Hotkeys are working. But there's one problem: The controls are only working if I'm using the built-in speakers. As soon as i plug in some headphones, etc, Windows is switching the audio interface to 'Headphones' and the Hotkeys stop working.UPDATE: Ok, it seems to only be an issue with the Windows 7 default HD Audio driver. I installed the Lenovo driver and it's now working as i imagened.
(Tough I can't have 2 different profiles for speakers and headphones anymore, but that's a price i'm ready to pay. I have a rather troublesome problem with the Hotkey driver.Whenever I install it my computer freezes after logon!
I see my desktop, the few 'stickies' I have appear. Then nothing. The mouse won't even move and the hard-disk pounds quite hard.I have all the other Windows 7 beta drivers installed (obviously including the Lenovo System Interface driver). The only thing I can do is restart in safe-mode and uninstall the driver.Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution? Are Lenovo accepting feedback on these betas and working with people to solve problems before RTM?
