Click to expand.To be honest, they were probably just too lazy to do a faithful port. PC users get the shaft a lot when it comes to ports. The thing that makes the pre-patch version so bad isn't just the awful graphics and effects, but the fact that it was constantly being delayed for months. One would think that upon its release, we'd be able to see why so much extra time was put into the game. But that wasn't the case at all. At least in this case we get a nice patch that gives back most, if not all, of the graphical effects that were originally missing. Looks very nice IMO, I'll definitely get a copy and finally get to enjoy RE4.

Why even bother making the.tiest port in existence. If I really wanted to play RE4 that badly I'd go out and buy a gamecube and RE4. Would cost about 100 bucks TOPS, and you get a whole new system to play with.It's not even laziness.
